    By far the best scene on film that I have ever witnessed. Stewart nailed this monologue; I don’t know where he drew the intensity from, but it came from deep down in his soul, down to the faltering voice. A defense of “the little people.”

    I'm 58 years old. My top 3 movies ever. The Godfather. The Godfather 2. And, It's A Wonderful Life. My wife and I watch this between Christmas and New Years day every year.

    1:35 -1:40 "I know very well what you're talking about! You're talking about something you can't get your fingers on and it's galling ya!" What I love most about George's rant here is that he pointed out the only reason Potter even wants the bank is because he doesn't have it already. One of the pettiest reasons anyone can have for wanting something especially of this size is because it doesn't belong to him.

    At 1:19 there's about 12 seconds of Bari aax that just wails. The amalgamation of intertwined rhythms and syncopated poly rhythms is delightful and there is NO better version of the Dark Town Strutters Ball strange Hoagie Carmichael .

    Easy to see why Bob Hope kidded Doris- in a good-natured way- about her rear end. She shows it off here, and repeatedly throughout her career, even in television much later. Not that I'm complaining!
